Naturopathic medicine is a branch of health care that blends
safe and effective traditional therapies with modern medical
science. It is design to treat and address the underlying cause
of a condition rather than treating symptoms. In the state of
Oregon, a Naturopath is a primary care physician who specializes
in natural medicine and employs physical exams, lab work, x-rays
and other diagnostic tests to evaluate and disease.
Principles
Naturopathic Medicine involves seven principles:

• The healing power of nature
• Physician as teacher
• Identify and treat the root cause
• Treat the whole person
• Support the healing power of nature
